  • God in Business Chapter 8 - If My Dream Is God-Given, Why Is It So Hard to Pursue It?
    by Ted Cottingham
Most people won’t take responsibility for their actions or their past, present or future. Most people won’t be accountable. Most people won’t make the decision to mature. Most won’t develop their natural gifts. Most won’t develop their spiritual gifts. Most won’t learn to really communicate nor how to give and receive counsel and allow others to be free. Most won’t give up their control.
Result? They will always be wondering why they could never do what they felt God wanted them to do. Many of them will tell you that they’re just waiting on God.

  • Declaration of Dependence - Does Holiness Come By Striving After it or By Resting in God?

  • I  Want You To Take Your Place in This World
    by Ted Cottingham
I want you to have more and I’m going to be doing more and more for YOU to see that YOU can do what’s in your heart to do. If you’re seeking God and seeking to be used by him, and you’re opening your heart up to him without reserve, and you keep feeling, sensing and hearing him direct you, I want to help you have the guts to do something about it.
Get up and go take your place in this world.

Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.  1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 NIV

Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation! [Rom 8:37.]  The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!  Habakkuk 3:17-19 AMP
